Travel Itinerary:
a) Knik Glacier Tour
Travel over the Chugach Mountains and the 28-mile-long Knik Glacier.
Sense the motion of the ice and see how it has shaped the land. You’ll
descend over Colony Glacier and follow the winding Knik Glacier Gorge,
carved by the river from solid glacier ice.
b) Denali National Park
This spectacular flight departs Anchorage and takes you within 6 miles of
Mt. McKinley’s summit. At 20,320 feet it is North America’s highest peak. From the windows of your
flightseeing plane you may spot wildlife or climbers. Make a photo-stop landing on a pristine mountain
lake.
c) Prince William Sound
Narrated flightseeing adventures provide you with an eagle’s view of
Alaska’s most breathtaking natural wonders. Prince William Sound is a
magnificent region with over fifteen thousand square miles of fjords
and inlets, dozens of tidewater glaciers and rugged mountain peaks.
You’ll land at a secluded cove where you can take souvenir photos to
talk about back home. Then fly to Glacier Island to view sea lions
sunning themselves on rocks.
