An exhilarating helicopter flight takes you to the top of the ridge overlooking spectacular vistas of the
Alaska Range and Yanert Valley dominating the landscape. On your descent down the ridge, Mt. McKinley
towers on the western horizon and the 12,339-foot Mt. Deborah and the 13,832-foot Mt. Hayes provide
an impressive backdrop to the east. Your naturalist-guide pauses frequently to explain the flora and fauna
found in the area. You may also see a variety of wildlife as everyone does their best to spot Dall sheep,
caribou, moose and bear, as well as hoary marmots pikas and birds of Interior Alaska.
