Travel Itinerary: 

Day 01 - Arrive in Whitehorse
Welcome to Canada’s Yukon. At the airport, you will be welcomed by your tour-guide. Transfer to the hotel. Meet with your fellow travellers.

Day 02 - Kluane National Park
We’ll tour the Yukon’s capital, including the SS Klondike (restored) paddlewheeler before departing. You’ll thrill at the beauty of Kluane National Park, home to Mt. Logan, Canada’s tallest at 5920m. Afternoon hike, or optional flightseeing tour.

Day 03 - Tok (Alaska)
Today we’ll travel along the scenic shore of the huge Lake Kluane. We’ll stop for views of the hundred’s of Dall’s Sheep on the steep grassy slopes of Sheep Mountain before crossing the border.

Day 04 - Valdez
Our route today takes along the border of Wrangell St. Elias National Park, the largest in the USA and home to 9 of the country’s 16 highest peaks! The crossing of the coastal range via the Thompson Pass is spectacular.

Day 05 - Anchorage
Today we travel the Prince William Sound via state run ferry, passing the massive Columbia Glacier. Sightings of sea otters, puffins, seals, sea lions and even whales are possible today!

Day 06 - Anchorage
Day free to explore Alaska’s largest city. Take in the floatplane base at Lake Hood, the world’s largest, or the Native Heritage Center. Shop for bargains, enjoy upscale bistro food, or down home cookin’ at Gwennies.

Day 07 - Denali National Park
Today we leave the pacific coast region and its particular climate. Via the George Parks Highway we travel northbound towards Denali National Park. Optional tours, including flightseeing in afternoon.

Day 08 - Denali National Park
Travel deep into one of the most scenic landscapes in North America, see dall sheep, moose, caribou and grizzly bears and Mt. Denali (McKinley); at over 6000m, its North America’s highest peak! A trip highlight.

Day 09 - Fairbanks
Today we continue north to Fairbanks. Optional tours in the afternoon include the Alaska Dog Mushing Museum, University of Fairbanks Museum or a paddlewheel cruise on the Chena River.

Day 10 - Tok
After strolling through downtown Fairbanks in the morning we are on our way southbound passing innumerable lakes and rivers in this beautiful landscape.

Day 11 - Dawson City
The journey continues via the well-named Top of the World Highway. We’ll pass by villages with strange sounding names like Chicken, Action Wade Camp and cross the Yukon River by ferry in the afternoon.

Day 12 - Dawson City
Today we’ll tour the famous Gold Rush town, stopping in at Bonanza Creek, the Jack London cabin, Midnight Dome. Diamond Tooth Gertie and her Cancan-dance girls will entertain us at the casino this evening.

Day 13 - Whitehorse
Return drive through the vast Yukon interior today along the Klondike Highway. Our route follows the Yukon River Valley and we’ll stop in at the impressive Five Finger Rapids.

Day 14 - Whitehorse
Time free this morning for optional tours before transferring to the airport. End.
