In
partnership with Parks Canada, we invite you to experience the Babbage
River Falls. Departing from Inuvik, fly across the Mackenzie Delta to
the edge of Ivvavik National Park, in the British Mountains. Land on an
alpine ridge, there is no airstrip, we use large, over-inflated
‘tundra’ tires to protect the plantlife - above the largest falls in
North Yukon, experience part of Canada that escaped the last Ice Age.
As you hike down to the falls or ridge walk, your interpretive guide
will point out the plant life, wildlife, explain the geography and the
Inuvialuit connection to the area.
