Find your own piece of paradise at every stop along the way on our cabin-based self drive tour. You’ll really feel like you left the hustle and bustle behind! For this unique self drive tour, we have found some of the most picturesque cabin accommodation available in Yukon and Alaska. The cabins have been selected for their scenic location and their proximity to major attractions (in some cases they are located right in the city centre!) The majority have either full cooking facilities or kitchenettes so you have the option of preparing your own meals.

Itinerary (WHITEHORSE dEPARTURE):

Day 01 - Whitehorse
Stroll along the Yukon River’s edge, visit the SS Klondike National Historic Site.
Lewes River Farm 

Day 02 - Keno
Drive the Klondike Highway through the villages of Carmacks, Stewart and Pelly. Keno City Cabins

Day 03 - Dawson City
Time to drive to the Keno Hill signpost for big sky views, afternoon drive to Dawson.
Whitehouse Cabins or Klondike Kates Cabins

Day 04 - Tok
Enjoy the impressive panoramic views offered by the well-named Top of the World Highway.

Day 05 - Fairbanks
Take an optional cruise the Chena River,see Creamers Field, tour the University of Alaska museum. Enjoy cabins in heart of city.

Day 06 - Denali National Park
Denali is home to North America’s tallest peak (Mt. McKinley 20320ft).  Enjoy optional tours; wildlife viewing, ATV tours, flightseeing, hiking, white water rafting

Full day Denali National Park tour.  See moose, caribou, grizzly and black bears, wolves, sheep, and eagles.  Sightings of Mt. McKinley (Denali) possible throughout the day.

Day 08 - Seward
Visit Anchorage, Alaska’s largest city before travelling south along Cook Inlet.

Today we've included a marinelife cruise in Kenai Fjords National Park.  A tour in this all-marine park is a must; you'll view whales, sea lions, dolphins and the beautiful Ressurection Glacier.

Easy drive through the heart of Alaska’s farming region, see a musk-ox farm.

Day 11 - Kennicott
Travel to the heart of Wrangell St. Elias National Park; America’s largest.

Day 12 - Kennicott
Mountain bike, hike, glacier walk, flightsee, RELAX in the shadow of 17,000ft mountains.

Day 13 - Tok Area
Travel North to remote Paxson area, excellent wildlife viewing, optional Denali Hwy drive.

Day 14 - Kluane (Haines Junction)
Travel along Alaska Hwy to Canada, hike off highway or view Dalls Sheep.
