insulated overalls, Hollowfill booties, insulated bottle, thermos,

Travel Itinerary:
Day 1
Arrive Whitehorse Airport. Transfer to the homestead. You’ll be
outfitted with personal gear and taken out for your first “Mushing 101”
lesson. Dinner and free evening to relax in the guest lounge or
enjoy a hot tub under the Northern Lights.
Day 2
Flight to Dawson City, transfer by road to the trailhead. Mush into
camp on the famous Yukon Quest Trail on the Yukon River. Dinner, free
evening. Northern Lights viewing.
Day 3
Dog sledding day tour along the frozen Yukon River. Hearty fireside lunch at a prospectors cabin.
Day 4-7
Day tours by dog sled into Tombstone Territorial Park and will follow
the West Hart River Valley enjoying the ample snow, and absolutely
spectacular mountain scenery. You will have plenty of time to enjoy the
comfortable camp and savour the heat of the spring sun as we relax in
our camp chairs, looking for wintering caribou on the flanks of the
nearby mountains.
Day 8
Full day dogsled to the Demspter Highway trailhead. Return to Dawson
City by road. This evening we’ll stay at famous Bombay Peggy’s – a
former brothel – now a comfortable Victorian-style in, complete with
clawfoot tubs (a welcome treat after a week on the trail! Evening free
to enjoy the gold rush saloon after a delicious dinner, or turn in
early to relax in the luxury of fresh duvets and pillows!
Day 9
Morning free to explore the boardwalks of Dawson City, once home to
50,000 miners, prospectiors, dance hall girls, merchants and
sham-artists, and now a national historic site. Return flight to
Whitehorse, overnight Whitehorse or depart.
End.

- While on the trail, guests and sleep in 4 person mountaineering tents (2 people/tent) that have small stoves for heat
