Day 01 - Peace River

Travel in the footsteps of Sir Alexander Mackenzie on the Mackenzie Route. Great Canadian Inn

Day 03 - Hay River
Traverse NWT border today, visit beautiful Twin Falls Gorge, tour Hay River. Ptarmigan Inn

Day 04 - Hay River
Day tour on Hwy 5 to Wood Buffalo NP (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Bison/wildlife commonly spotted. Ptarmigan Inn

Day 05 - Yellowknife
Cross Mackenzie River by ferry, see Ft.Providence’s mission, Great Slave Lake. Embleton House

Day 06 - Yellowknife
Optional First Nations village tour, learn about traditional native life, see real Teepee’s! Embleton House

Day 07 - Fort Simpson
South to Ft. Providence, then west following Mackenzie Valley, cross Liard River. Bannockland B&B

Day 08 - Fort Simpson
