Kachemak Bay Cruise
Day Tour

Travel by sea kayak to the heart of Kachemak Bay State Park. This beautiful location offers a wealth of diverse paddling routes through one of the world's richest estuaries with it's vast system of tidal channels. The half day tour is perfect for beginniners and can be offered in conjunction with a short hike. On the full day tour you’ll travel through 2 bays where you can alternately paddle in narrow tidal channels, up close to bold sea cliffs, and emerge in to more open water. Both tours provide a lot of variety in scenery and sea life including Gull Island seabird colony where there are close up views of puffins and other species of seabirds. There are archways to paddle through, and beaches to rest on as well as short stretch hikes to scenic vistas.

Trips are limited to small groups and are organized to take best advantage of fair tidal currents and protected inner bays.
